Our Story (The Real Version)

Look, we started Nexorath Citadel back in 2012 because we were tired of seeing businesses get burned by legal advice that sounded impressive but didn't actually solve problems. Too many lawyers were more interested in billing hours than getting results.

I remember our first major case - a mid-sized manufacturer getting squeezed in a contract dispute. They'd already spent a fortune with another firm and were nowhere. We came in, cut through the nonsense, and had 'em sorted in three months. That's when we realized there was a real need for lawyers who speak plain English and actually care about the bottom line.

Fast forward to today, and we've handled everything from startups raising their first round to multi-million dollar acquisitions. We've been in the trenches with clients facing IP theft, employment nightmares, and commercial disputes that could've tanked their businesses. And yeah, we've won most of them.

How We Got Here

2012

The Beginning

Started with three lawyers, a shared office space, and a bunch of clients who were fed up with traditional law firms. Our pitch was simple - better service, better results, better pricing.

2015

Major Expansion

Moved to King Street West. Added IP and employment practice groups. Won a few high-profile cases that put us on the map. Started getting referrals from clients we actually wanted to work with.

2019

Recognition

Named one of Toronto's fastest-growing law firms. Not that we're bragging, but it's nice when people notice you're doing things right. Doubled our team, kept the same approach.

2025

Today

We're now a full-service corporate and commercial firm with 15+ lawyers. Still in the same location, still doing things our way. The only thing that's changed is we're better at what we do.
